NTRCA invites you to learn more about Fortified Roofing from people who work with it every day in and near North Texas.

The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) developed the FORTIFIED program to set higher standards for roofing and construction, making buildings more resilient against severe weather and reducing long-term losses. The Fortified Roofing designation requires contractors to follow specific installation practices and documentation requirements—such as enhanced decking attachment, sealed roof decks, and improved flashing—to better ensure the roof can withstand high winds, hail, and severe weather.

In this Lunch & Learn Panel Discussion, you’ll hear from a roofing contractor who has installed multiple fortified roofs and will share the real-world pros and cons of the process. You’ll also gain the perspective of an inspector who will explain what he looks for and what he values in fortified systems.

Come ready with your questions and walk away with practical insights you can apply on your next project.
