TPO Installation Training – 9 AM
Attendees enhanced their technical roofing skills through a hands-on TPO installation workshop led by Don Lamont of D.A. Lamont Public Adjusters and CORE Forensics. The session focused on best practices that produce quality installations and support long-term performance. Participants worked directly with materials while learning essential procedures, including sheet layout, TPO attachment, flashings, terminating corners, and obtaining warranties. The training emphasized accuracy in design and offered practical tips for avoiding wrinkles and voids, managing penetrations, welding seams, attaching membranes, and implementing standardized installation protocols within their companies.
Commercial Storm Damage Assessment – 1 PM
The afternoon session provided roofing professionals with applied training in identifying and evaluating storm damage on commercial roofs. Don Lamont guided attendees through real-world examples of hail, wind, hurricane, tornado, and water damage while demonstrating systematic inspection methods. Participants learned how to execute structured assessment procedures, recognize common damage indicators across roofing systems, and recommend appropriate testing measures to support accurate documentation and remediation plans.
